no idea, but there are plenty of 23's on the lots around here, upwards of 40k for the plus.

Actually the battery is air cooled. Which doesn't help if it's warm or hot or freezing. They both DC charge at about the same speed but if you have to drive more than 400 miles a day, the Bolt will charge faster.

It's passive air cooling; no fan, just convection while the car isn't moving. Which means ineffective cooling for DC charging. On long trips, that usually results in just the first DC session being done at the car's max rate. The rest are slower.

Plug ins with a fan for cooling(early Hyundai's and Toyota's) haven't had the issues of the Leaf.

It seems like the Bolt EUV has great visibility. I don't know what the specs are to compare to the Prius Prime, but at least to me it feels as though I have better viewing angles in the EUV. So far I'm really liking it! Unfortunately, so is my wife, who keeps wanting to drive it instead of her Leaf!

from the pictures, it does look pretty good. looking at the new prius in person yesterday, it reminded me of my miata.
couldn't see a thing unless the top was down. more like a submarine. 40 years ago, i would have loved it.
if mrs b starts driving my bolt too often, i'll be trading in her new hycam

Did you sit in the driver's seat of the new Prius and try to see the instrument cluster? Every review I've seen (as far as I recall) hated that placement. It's as if the chief designer said, "We only have two places for the instruments. If you didn't like the old one, you for sure won't like the new one!" If not for that, they all love it. But that would sure be a deal breaker for me.

In other words, it cooled like a hot rock under a car. Not even so much as a fan on it to remove heat when DC fast charging.

it wasn't for sale, so i couldn't sit in it. most of the buyers here say that if you adjust the seat height just right, the front to back just right, and the tilt of the seatback just right, you can see it fine.
personally, i like to adjust the seat for my most comfortable driving position. if i can't see the speedo, that's a problem.
i don't like online 'professional' reviews because their car people. give them fast and furious, and you'll get glowing reviews.
my desires lie elsewhere. there isn't an online reviewer that i have seen that ever extolled the virtues of gen 2 as the best utility car ever made, which it was in my opinion.

Makes me wonder who you were watching. I have seen a number of them that say it is just fine. As for my experience, visibility is no issue whatsoever. Makes me wonder if they were overlooking (pun intended) something.

It's pretty easy to explain people's different views of the Prius dash - cluster. Some people have long or short legs - putting the seat in different positions, while other people differ having long or short torsos ... which gives different dash views. It's not the first time this scenario has arisen and won't be the last.

It would have been better if Toyota had spent the money on a proper IP and a HUD. Instead, they half assed both and ended up with a mess. Which seemed to be the whole design philosophy behind the bx4z.

Finding a means of delivering HUD without the expense of HUD is half-assed?

I'm convinced the Prius and bZ4X dash display was designed to work with their yoke. The yoke just wasn't ready in time, and why it is an option on the new Lexus BEV. I expect it to be available with the Prius midcycle refresh.

I saw that... it's basically what VW has done with the id.4. Except, with the id.4, VW has gone to the expense of mounting the IP on the column so it moves with the wheel, ensuring it's always visible.

What do you think the purpose was?

Remember, we've been through this before.

To avoid spending money on implementing a proper IP and HUD.
