I've seen this item advertised on eBay as "HV Electric Hybrid Vehicle Control Module" and "Computer Assy, Battery." I bought it new from ToyotaPartsDeal.com, and it arrived on 8/12. It's the wrong part, and unfortunately they won't allow me to return it because "due to it being, but not limited to, an electrical part or has electrical components." I wish I would have read the return policy!! Hard lesson learned. I paid $500 for this brand new OEM item, including shipping, and I'm selling it for $425, shipping included. It's never been installed, used, or tampered with. I did open the bubble wrap to inspect and take photos. It replaces parts 89981-47211, 89981-47210 and it is for a Gen 2 (2006-2009) Prius.
Did you order the wrong part? You wanting the HV Battery ECU? I would try again to get a refund. You will have a very hard time selling this item
Unfortunately, ToyotaPartsDeal.com was firm about not accepting the return even after I explained that I bought the wrong part and that I would be glad to pay for a more expensive item if they let me return this item. At this point, what else can I say?
