Just purchase a 2014 Plug in Prius this last weekend. Certified with navigation,heated seats,entune radio, remote A/C, hands free phone. 30,000 miles on it, paid $20,500 for it. $2400 for my trade in: my very trusty 2010 Prius I drove this car 1000 miles per week and it never let me down. It usually got timely oil changes(castrol synthetic) and air filters, but little else ever broke. The A/C was still doing a great job, even on a 100 degree day. It was diagnosed with a blown head gasket, so i bailed out. ($4000 dealer quote for repairs) So pleased with it overall, i bought another one. Waited until the 2016 model came out, but didnt buy one, prefer the 2010 to 2015 model. Attached Files:
Did they say what caused the blown head gasket? Did it have any symptoms of failing or did it just go at once without warning? I think you can swap in a lower mileage used ICE motor for 1500-2k.
