My 2014 Prius V -3 recently began experiencing Entune system failure after starting up and/or backing up. The Entune system locks up with a gray window with message "Please insert correct storage media" and EC 10D. All buttons are locked out - can't do anything. I have to shut off the car and restart for this to come back to normal. Then it happens again a few times a week. Any ideas would be helpful before I go to the dealership. Thanks
I know this is an old message but did you eventually take the car to the dealership? By the way, Toyota is basically abandoning Entunes as no one wants to support it. It took a long time for Toyota to realize they needed to support Apple and Google instead of forcing their Entune solution onto customers. I have a 2014 Prius V 3, and I gave up using Entunes after a few months (purchase the car new in 2014). I also gave up using the built-in GPS. I use my iPhone instead. That built-in GPS was poorly designed, being from an older generation. Also it can only be updated (maps) at the dealership and it is very expensive ( between $200 and $300).
