While waiting for your better scan tool to show up, you can get the codes behind the VSC and ((!)) lights just by doing this:

Blink (a/k/a Flash) Codes – How to. | PriusChat

That doesn't work for the codes behind the triangle light though, so you will still have those to retrieve when your better scan tool arrives.

Put The car and ready mode get out pull the hood release and take the cap off your inverter reservoir It's mounted on the silver thing right in front of the driver under the hood when you do that do you see that red or whatever color coolant is in there moving You might even hear it if you're quiet The level will change when you undo the cap on the reservoir It might look low and then all of a sudden it'll rise a millimeter or two watch it when you're doing it then look down in the reservoir and see if you see traces of water or coolant moving and you should hear the pump that should be right next to your right knee standing in front of the car You can reach down just behind the headlight in between the inverter and the headlight housing and feel that pump running should vibrate your hand while you're under there you might want to open up the fuse box and check the AM2 fuse what do you have going on?

Thanks for the replies, I believe the issue is contaminants in my brake fluid and worn out brakes

I would sooner believe the issue is whatever your car is trying to tell you the issue is.

You can get the codes behind the VSC and ((!)) lights just by doing this:

Blink (a/k/a Flash) Codes – How to. | PriusChat

As for the codes behind the triangle light, that will call for a better scan tool, or a visit to someone who has one.

The triangle light codes will be about the hybrid system, not about brake contaminants or wear.

On the other hand, the brake warning lights might be just to tell you there's a hybrid system issue; that's what it'll mean if you get those blink codes and they're only 51 on VSC or 58 on ((!)) or both.

To do that you'd have to have some sensors like in my pool computers that can measure things like pH and other things like that in order to know that the brake fluid would be contaminated water sensors all kinds of stuff would be needed I do believe and I don't think any of that is going on here and these type of vehicles. And no sensors that are in my pool system management systems some of those sensors are very expensive.

This is great info! But unfortunately I got an infinite amount of blinks, and the link you posted says that a regular on and off flash like the one I got means there is nothing the ECU has. It flashes half a second fast, I counted up to 278 flashes.

I was able to scan with a better scan tool and I got P0AA6. Which I believe might be a leak in the hybrid battery. The confusing part is why the other dash lights come on….

Because they will all light up like that because that's how they do but the code you're reading is the one that's important

When there's a problem with the hybrid drive system, it usually winds up disabling regenerative braking. So the brake control ecu turns on the various warning lights for those systems.
