Ordered a sunshade through the shop for my Prime 6 years ago, transaction went through and got the shade in good time. However, after 6 years of daily use, it's a little ragged (to say the least). Placed an order for a new one almost 3 weeks ago and the transaction is stuck in "awaiting payment" on the PriusChat shop side and "authorized but not charged" on the Paypal side. I sent a message a few days ago but have received no replies. Guessing from the other comments in this subforum that the shop is no longer reliable the last few years? Will wait for another couple of weeks for the authorization to fall off on the Paypal side and order from another merchant, I reckon.
I would notify PayPal of the problem you are having. It may not get your order filled but it may prevent someone else having to go to the hassle.
Well shoot, wish I'd seen this before. I'm in the exact same boat. Tried filing a dispute w/ PayPal, but since it's been in the "processing" phase for almost a month now I can't actually dispute it. Am I just supposed to wait until it magically goes away? Absolutely insane that it's still linked as a legit service on this forum.
