The big concern is obviously the engine. It needs to be evaluated by a good mechanic. Purchasing a car with a failing engine, and having no way to repair or replace that engine, is just going to be wasted time, energy and money. Does the check engine light blink while the engine is knocking? A serious misfire is the ONLY thing that causes a blinking CEL. A serious misfire is usually caused by a failed sparkplug, but can also be from other causes. That would be a cheap fix. The delivery thing is unfortunate, as you could likely get a very good Gen 2, and delivered, for half of what you're looking to spend on this one.
not so quick guys, I don't know about Turkey's custom fees and tariffs on import goods but cars imported from other countries are being taxed heavily (customs) That's why some people resort to shipping the cars into pieces (parts) to avoid imposed tax on a whole car. It's not that easy and cheap. Shipping is easy but it stops at the customs office where you need a lot of paper work and money to get that car out. It's not like you order from Amazon and it's right at your doorstep.
Yes that's how I used to get soarers into USA in mid 80's some Skylines too. That was long before all these JDM importers and what not started importing one and two cars a week like this place up in Raleigh still a crap shoot You can't get parts and work on these cars worth a damn so most of them wind up being garage queens that everybody wants to sell for $40,000 It's hysterical
