2011 Toyota prius I'm thinking of buying this vehicle. Will it cost me a lot? I have a limited budget, but would you recommend? How much will it cost me to repair?
Yes it will be costly to repair the obvious and plan on another $10k for engine, battery and brake by wire mechanicals.
They want 7000 dollars, the vehicle is in Turkey, it's a bit difficult myself, but I have to get it repaired. they could not start the vehicle, so the mile cannot be read. I can replace the batteries myself. I have experience with batteries.
Even with the conditions in Turkey I don't know man that's not going to be a thing you want to be involved in I can assure you that maybe a piaggio scooter until you can figure it out at least you're moving.
No I truly don't believe so mehmet. You will need a lot more than that to get that car even a quarter of the way straight but hey if it's something you want to t tackle.
There should be a placard inside drivers door opening, saying the month and year the car was built. Maybe post that. a lot of potential problems with this generation of Prius though.
This vehicle needs a lot more than new bumpers or batts; a lot more. Unless you're in the repair business with the tools, knowledge and space; pass.

Normally it is not necessary to "start the vehicle" (which I take to mean put in READY mode) to read the odometer. It must have a 12-volt battery connected, though.

I think you will regret buying it. It is a very complex vehicle and the battery is the least of the concerns.
