Extreme vacuum in coolant system

    I'm hoping it will be flavored with some oil and carbon, maybe just a hint of glycol for freshness....

    I'm guessing your getting the cold start missfire on startup, if so try unscrewing header tank cap when you park up for the day.... If it starts next day without missfire it's looking like gasket..... Had 2 do this and neither showed oil in water or water in oil... But both blow gaskets.

    I bought it broke down, drove it onto tow dolly and tow it home. It never misfire the 2 times I started it..

    I bought it without looking under the hood; I was not able to open it to check because it was frozen in ice, and I just assuming it need it head gasket replacement based on the codes I scanned..

    I took engine apart today after boroscope it, and found number 2 cylinder was compromised...

    So, head gasket job. Just what I suspected...

    If there was little coolant left in the system, I think you'll need more than a head gasket. Consider another engine, used or rebuilt.

    So, far no bent piston rod, everything else loosks okay..
    Will check cylinder head when I make it back in town tomorrow morning...
