Can I replace the black bumper trim under the grill or do I need to replace the whole bumper?

There is a small plastic trim bit under the bumper.

Mine appears to have screws drilled into it all the way across the top of it.

I'm curious to know if this piece is replaceable or if the entire bumper would need to be replaced

If it can't be I'll probably try glueing it back together.

Above site down for me, here's something. Everything pretty much explained on first page, if you're just replacing that first black underpanel.

It's a same manual. Site still works for me so I don't know why it's not working for you.

Yeah I access a mazda manual with .ru extension, but for your link locking just now, maybe due to my location?

Where would a good place to buy a replacement one be?

I can't find one on eBay.

I thought op meant the part number 19.

But for that sort of part you pretty much just have to get it from dealer or used. Part from gen 2 Prius 2006 model year or newer will fit. But of course these type of parts can easily be bad on parted out cars.

Yeah our 3rd gen has similar black plastic piece near the front: it drags and snags with pretty much every concrete curb or wheel stop. I've finally wised up, try to stop before I'm too close. I've had it off twice for repair with 2-part epoxy plus fiberglass mesh.

I've never understood those wheel stops. I thought those were only American things but you have them in Canada too? I've never seen one. Different cars have different overhangs so you can't have it in the correct spot for different cars. And why is it made higher than minimum required ground clearance?

I guess they used to be adequate clearance, but cars keep getting lower. 3rd gen design is especially bad, like a barbed hook when you drive over the concrete wheel stop. The under plastic rides up and over the concrete, then snags when you back off.

The wheel stops are typically "nailed" to the ground with a concrete reinforcing bar driven through. And occasionally those are not driven flush with top of concrete, left protruding. Our son encountered one of those with his car: tore a nice chunk out of his front fairing.

Mendel, I'm looking for a 2015 prius v black grill removal procedures so I could attach a bug mesh over the open cooling areas.
    TIA

Post a picture, what you’re trying to remove? There’s always a way; just following your nose works good.

stuff like dash removal can be tricky, there’s rarely any visible fasteners, but at bottom of front bumper it should be easy.
