Apologize? For what? He has an opinion and I have one, just because our opinions differ doesn't mean either is right or wrong.

Clearly, he's lost in the weeds here! So because to me "no light gets through whatsoever" and when I have them up no one can tell I have lights on inside... I'm wrong? :: giggles ::

Reading/watching this unfold is utterly ridiculous. Prius Overlanding has a stain for sure, but when provided with the slamdunk opportunity to get something...anything right, they fumbled it yet again, and then blamed the "Prius community" for having...*gasp* expectations!
The amount of verbiage in rebuttals without saying anything of actual value takes the term "shuck and jive" to a whole new level.
It has to be one of the oiliest, greasiest, "businesses" out there. Ie. Sell bread, then take that money to buy the wheat, and then get mad when the customer is wondering where their product is...duh.
Just today I noticed the upload of documents highlighting his past transgressions as "ELC Motorsports". Probably going to mention, as he did on a FB forum, that he simply just shares the same unfortunate name, in the same city, in the same industry, etc. etc. etc. etc.

 

I can confirm all of the above and worse about "Jimmy" at Priusoverlanding. It is now August 18 and I ordered a 2" lift kit back in mid-December and have nothing to show for it, except for one lame excuse after another when I actually got replies, which was rarely. Now all I get is silence. Either this guy is outright fraudulent or incompetent beyond belief. In any case I have no doubt that his business is headed for imminent bankruptcy, if it isn't there already. Do not under any circumstances send him any money!!!!

 

Can confirm that any money you send this outfit is probably gone for good.

 

He is still around. He was posting two days ago talking about the new things coming up as he sleeps in the back of his car.

The sad thing is some people believe any kind of bs and “give him a chance to redeem himself” with their money.

 

Im not sure if you know this... there is a very large number of Prius owners who sleep inside of their car... how is this a bad thing?

You had plenty of time to contact, and still contact your credit card company and disbute the charge.
They will take the funds back, then wait for him to contact them in a certain amount of time.

Both of my cards give you 1 year to do so.

 

Bankruptcy? I don't think so. Rake in lots of cash on sales but make no expenditures on inventory = huge profit.

 

Ten to one it would be a personal bankruptcy as I bet there is no legal company structure. Somehow I doubt he has any creditors to owe.

You have ignored all my demands for a refund and it has now been almost 10 months since I sent you my $339 for a lift kit with nothing to show. This is really very simple. Will you commit to sending me a refund or not? And yes, I am addressing you directly (black_jmyntrn) and expect a direct answer. And you can be sure there will be followup from me on this forum.
