Yeah it's the rear wheel bearing. Look how hard it is to turn.

I bought a carquest brand. It has a 3 year warranty. I'm pretty sure something else will take the car out before then.

Carquest? Another cheapo brand. You should have check autozone....
I hear nothing in the video and can't tell anything. Maybe the brake pads are rubbing?

You really have to remove the caliper so the wheel has nothing touching the rotor.

Changed the driver side wheel bearing, and all four rear brake pads. I regret not getting the NSKs since that’s what I removed and found to be grinding. I think the passenger side is going to give out soon as well. It’s clicking a little when I spin it.
Gotta drive 80 to check to see if everything is okay in my opinion but its pretty much done.

I’m going hold on to the old hub just in case it was a mistake to swap it out. It was hard to spin compared to the new one but it’s not grinding as much as when it was on the car.

You didn't have to beat the crud out of it to get it out?

No, fewer than five whacks with the smallest hammer I have(16 0z) got it out. The rotor was rusted on and took longer to remove.

Old wheel bearing off the car. Nsk aisin so I guess it's oem. 245,000 was a good run.

    I hear background noise.
If you can feel and hear it, that's all that matters.
It's always best to change them in pairs, like struts and shocks.
And with those miles, surely the other one is bad also...

other rear wheel bearing is bad and probably causing some drag. Don’t have money for another bearing right now. Maybe in a few weeks.

Got an alignment today. Here’s the report. Anything odd in the report?

The Aisin part is the speed sensor and I think multiple brands do that (according to photos). I'm curious about NSK now, also made in Japan, and cheaper. I wonder if that really is OEM? Anyone know for sure?

How long have you had the car?

    11 years.

I had some bearings changed in 2019 but I don’t know on which wheels. Probably the front two.
