What is this wire?

    Hey guys, I noticed this loose wire when I opened my hood the other day. The car seems to be running just fine but I'm a bit concerned. Could anyone tell me what this wire should be connected to.

    Looks like aftermarket wire loom.

    Doesnt seem to have a wire in it, you can try taking it off but either way it is not OEM

    Agree, that wire is not part of the OEM wiring. Furthermore, that black wire is cut off and hanging loose.

    I'm guessing you aren't the original owner? You can try to back trace where the wire and loom goes to see what's on the other end.
