License plate screw(s) broken off

    Sorry if this has been discussed previously (new owner, new poster).
    Original owner broke off both bolts that hold license plate before signing the title over to me.
    I’ve tried extracting from the front using various methods.
    Wondering if the posts on the backside are welded or threaded on.
    Appreciate the advice and feedback.

    When I picked up my Prius, one bolt was broken off. I drilled through the broken bolt, and tapped new threads. Fast & easy...
