Dear All: The thermostat seal on my 2017 Prius has a slight leak and I want to replace it by myself (I work on many things on my cars). However I could not find a procedure to do it. I have hard time to remove the bolt on the back of the thermostat housing (one of the three bolts on the thermostat housing opposite to the water pump). The pace is very tight even with many things moved to access it. Does any members have the tech manual for the 4th generation of Prius with the procedure on changing the thermostat housing/thermostat? If you do could you please share it with me? or you can provide a link with the procedure described. Your help is greatly appreciated.
10mm deep socket x 1/4" drive -> LONG extension -> swivel socket -> extension IIRC. Don't strip it out putting it back in. Good luck.
