I will be able to make this one. I could walk. It's only a half mile from my house. But I will drive - It'll give me a chance to show off the pin strips and the LED signaling mirrors.

Terri, try using VLC player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/). It plays bunch of video formats unlike Windows Media Player, where you have to download codecs.

Thanks, Scott...it was my updated version of WMP...I rolled back to the earlier version and all is well!!

grgghghgh.....maybe one of these days, I'll get a MAC...not yet, though.

I have no problems with WMP usually...was the newest download/upgrade.

    LIPOG Members -

Thanks for welcoming me in your group today. I had a great time checking out all the modifications you've done.

Horatio - the PHEV job was quite impressive. - Can't wait to see all your documentation online.

Emil, Sy, Robert, Scott, others - I was thinking about that BT plate on my drive home, and whether or not the original design had that plate being less stiff for any reason other than cost. Do we know what that plate looks like in the '07 Touring models, which have a stiffer suspension?

    I'll be watching these pages.

    Thanks again.

    Dan

Just wanted to let everyone know I had a great time and it was more like reuniting with old friends rather than just getting acquainted for the first time. Next time I'll make sure I stay longer.

Thanks for the pics (and yes Terri, I too really like the lineup but I especially liked the short lineup drive to D&B's). Wish I hadn't missed your original presentation Horacio but there's always next month to get caught up.

Emile, just checked out Sigma and Toyota Metro for the rear bumper and mud guards. I noticed Toyota Metro was cheaper. Is there a catch here somewhere? Do you recommend one over the other? <_< Was going to place an order but then figured I'd check with you first. Also, Sigma seems to carry two different types of window deflectors. One for $95 (dark tint), the other for $119 but I couldn't see where the difference was. Any input on this?

Will see you all again next month. Take care.

    Mia

    Horatio,
Thanks for sharing pics of your event! It looks like a good time was had by all.
Hopefully you (and maybe some other LIPOG members?) will be able to make the trip out to Hybridfest in 2007. I'm sure there will be other PHEV owners there who will want to compare notes with you. Heck you could even do a presentation if you want!
Anyway, I look forward to reading more about your plug in Prius on the LIPOG site.

You talking the bumper guard? Which one, the clear or the black? I was less than thrilled with my Sigma buyng experience, so if someone else has it for less, go for it. You might also try

Shouldn't be any difference with the bumper guard and mudflaps between the 2 places. Go with the cheaper from Metro. Be aware that there are 2 differnent types of bumper guards - one is hard black and the other is a clear decal.

There are also 2 types of wind deflectors (mounting is different). One uses clips, the other has a peel and stick adhesive. I've read where the one that uses clips can pop off and sometimes is not very easy to install. I've used the one with adhesive in the past with no problems.
