    Here is my situation,

I’m not new to the 2nd Gen Prius world, In fact I’ve replaced the hybrid battery, fixed the dash capacitor issue, fuel pump and so on.

About a week ago I was driving my Prius to church and it died in the middle of the road and shifted itself to neutral. I put it in park and tried turn it on and off again but since then it will try to turn on for about 2 seconds and then quit. I had to have it towed but now am wondering how to fix it.

leading up to this is had been having to reset the dash lights about ever other time I drove it for an unknown issue. I took it to three auto parts stores and couldn’t get a code. The hybrid battery is good and seemed to always stay charged.

I have recently replaced the fuel pump, it has an aftermarket CAT, and I have soldered a new capacitor on the dash recently.

I’m looking for ideas on how to get it back on the road!

    Any help would be appreciated!!

Probably an issue with your recently replaced fuel pump. How did you replace that?

    Thanks for the reply!

I followed a step by step on YouTube to replace it. I did use a aftermarket fuel pump. My code reader pulled it up before when the fuel pump was bad. I’ll look into it

    Welcome to PriusChat!!
Dash lights generally mean there are obd2 codes stored in the computers (ECUs), retrieve the codes and post in here for additional advice.
Just a WAG, but when was the last time the inverter coolant pump was replaced?
