Priuschat Store Order

It took about 6 weeks to get my sharkfin. Others have gotten it in about 4, others in 8. Your patience will be rewarded.

 

I ordered mine on 9-7 and I'm still waiting, talk about patience. If 8 weeks is the outside for delivery I should get mine no later then next Tuesday............

 

The PriusChat online store works in strange and mysterious ways.

But it does work.

 

The big point is that Danny's just a middleman - in the case of the sharkfin antenna, he has to send it elsewhere to be painted, which can take a bit of time. there was a significant gap between when my antenna went to the shop to be painted and showing up on my doorstep - in fact i was worried that i wouldn't get it before i moved, and that it was going to be a huge headache.

 

9 weeks (tomorrow) and counting, I hope it gets here soon................. ordered 9-7 (Order #: 2052)

For those who have ordered one, who's waited the longest.....

 

10 weeks today and counting,

Ordered 9-7 (Order #: 2052), They charged my credit card and took my money. I've e-mailed as suggested and like others, no response. 10 weeks, I'm starting to get the 'I've been taken' feeling. With respect to Danny and the Priuschat store, the other items I ordered along with the sharkfin antenna, mud flaps and sun shade, came in a very timely manner and worked out great!!!, Thanks. So the problem is the sharkfin folks, which I know Danny isn't responsible for being the middle man, but HE is our contact and I wish he would chime in here or return e-mail.

Has anyone received a sharkfin antenna within the last month.......

If business is that good for the sharkfin antenna folks, good for them, but the wait time needs to be adjusted on the store web site (something like '4 to 12 weeks, if ever') or some type of communication needs to take place.

Buyer Beware when it comes to the sharkfin antenna!!

Sorry about the rant, but my patience is just about worn out.

I've purchased items from the store and had no problems what so ever. That being said, I must agree that 10 weeks is way too long to wait for an item, especially without receiving any word from the vendor as to a back order, delay, etc.

Good luck with the purchase. I'm very sure you were not "taken", but I do agree you should have received some communication by now.

 

So sad - this Danny is still a creep of the highest magnatude - if you can't run this prius shop business like it is a business - CLOSE IT DOWN!!!!! I ordered the BT frame stiffner, tool to install it, and a sunscreen on August 8th - (I finally contacted the infamous "Danny" on Sept 6 with the following text
Hi Danny,
I have contacted PayPal - here's what I sent them and priuschat/shop -twice. You've got the cash - send the parts.

ORDER NUMBER FROM PAYPAL IS 4058-5456-0016-5648
CREDIT CARD CHARGED ON 08/07/06 -
NO WAY TO CHECK SHIPPING!!!!
NO COMMUNICATION FROM WHOEVER DANNY COOPER IS!!
IS THIS A SCAM????
SEND ME PARTS OR REFUND IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!

Then Danny replied with:
"Do you have an order # from the PriusChat Shop for me to reference? If not, it could be that when you checked out, you didn't click through PayPal until it returned you to the PriusChat Shop and you were assigned an order # from the Shop. This happens every once in awhile, and unfortunately if this process is not completed fully, PayPal does not send back all of the information for your order to the PriusChat Shop. If you can let me know your shipping address, I'd be more than happy to ask my suppliers to expedite your order.

If you'd prefer a refund at this point, I understand and would be more than happy to provide it.

I replied wiith the requested information ansd he replied to my first few emails and fell all over himself apologizing and then he said he contacted his distributor directly - then offered refund - HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING - NO PARTS - NO REFUND - $207 DOWN THE FRIGGIN DRAIN -DANNY SUCKS

DON'T EXPECT TO GET YOUR PARTS OR ANY SATISFACTION OUT OF THIS LOSER

 

Wow, I ordered a black sharkfin antenna on 10/3 and received it sometime around the 25th, got it installed this week. I had no idea people were having trouble getting the sharkfins till I read this thread. I hope everyone gets it worked out.

 

I ordered mine on 10/30 Order #2288 and am still waiting.

I was prepared to wait for it since I had heard it could take several week.

I wasn't expecting to be charged for it so quickly. I thought I'd be billed once shipped.

UPDATE!!

I finally recieved my Shark Fin Antenna, it only took 11 weeks and 4 days.... aaarrrgggg

but it sure looks nice.

One thing I do have say, is once Danny was able to get back to the store issues and responded to my e-mail, as noted above, I recieced my Antenna in a week and a half, although 11 1/2 weeks is way to long and not good for business.

Thanks Danny, but in the future, you or Nichole can't go on vacation or allow yourselves to get distracted again!!. When your on it, it works!! I hope with Nichole now working full time the problems and delays will be a thing of the past..

Don't buy from Priuschat store. I ordered my stiffning plate on Sept 7th and have yet to receive it. I talked to the Vendor and they said they have plenty in stock but don't see my order. My paypal account was debited from Priuschat. Even Danny admits to my order and him being paid but asks me to talk to Brian (the vendor).

Run around...

Come on, your order was bungled, but you are leaving the readers with a false impression concerning how it was ultimately resolved. It would appear as if you are pissed off that when the issue was finally resolved, the plate was not shipped to you with overnight delivery.

I ordered a part Sept 7th. Got a confirmation immediatly.

Never received it. Never got a delay notice. Nothing.

Two months ago I try contacting them about my order. I was told to PM my order number and personal information - which I did.

A month later not a single reply, no part, nothing.

I bring it up again and I am told to talk to Danny (from Brian).

Danny tells me it's not his problem and to talk to Brian.

After that there was pretty much nothing. I got a quantum shipping notification to my email and not a single call, email, PM, nothing about my order. YES - I expect an appology, an explanation, and some sort of compensation for this major delay. Maybe give me the $20 off the order everyone else has gotten if they orderd the last week?
