The paint on the roof of my Prius is peeling.........it almost looks like plastic is peeling. Has anyone heard of any recalls? It's a 2012 but someone at work mentioned I should still check. It runs great otherwise so I've never been too worried about the exterior.
Rear spoiler paint peeling has been reported here on Blizzard White Pearl and some other paint colors, but not the roof, to my knowledge
Similar problems reported I believe for Scion iQs of the same year. Hopefully if it hasn’t been in any accidents Toyota will take care of it I suggest bring it to a Toyota collision center…
OP never mentioned the paint color. Certain paint colors are known to have problems, like the blue on my 2016 Corolla. I believe Toyota acknowledged problems with their Super White (non-metallic) paint as well. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
