My Prius plus (V in usa) have more that 600.000km and i finaly have some 'problem'.. front left oily schock absorber. But i dont wanna buy new aftermarket because in my country we have just some china or another cheap quality schock absorber for prius plus. I thinking about used part, but another problem we dont have alot prius plus+ in our street.. we have alot prius 3. Do prius gen 3 front schock absorber fit to prius v/plus? i see spring have some collors, if i use prius 3 schock absorber and my original spring? what do you think?
Greetings from the grand daughter of a Lithuanian immigrant to the US. The genuine Toyota replacement shock only fits the Prius v from 2012-2014 https://parts.mcgeorgetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-absorber-assembly-shock-4852080335?c=Zz1mcm9udC1zdXNwZW5zaW9uJnM9c3VzcGVuc2lvbi1jb21wb25lbnRzJmw9MTEmbj1Bc3NlbWJsaWVzIFBhZ2UmYT10b3lvdGEmbz1wcml1cy12Jnk9MjAxMiZ0PXR3byZlPTEtOGwtbDQtZWxlY3RyaWMtZ2Fz Absorber Assembly Shock - Toyota (48520-80335)
KYB is popular on this board last I've read up on them. I bought a Monroe for a Scion tC, but never tried it. May check here for yours I don't know if Euro specification is different: TecDoc REVVL V+ 5G ?
Can you order Toyota OEM parts? My front struts went out. I wanted to replace them with KYB but they are not available until October. I ordered Toyota OEM shocks and boots. Reused the mounts, springs, and bumpers. Just had to buy and $35 spring compressor.
Any prius v owners raised their vehicles for ground clearance with different struts, shocks and springs? I'll need to replace my oem's soon and I'm looking for Ideas on how to go about it! The lift kits are pricey and in US funds(shipping/exchange, ouch). The regular prius has more options to go about!
