2005 Prius - Everything seems to be working fine, but as soon as I turn on the headlights, the dashboard lights go out - if I turn the headlights off, the dash lights return - Of course, I would like to have both working at the same time - any suggestions?
Welcome to PriusChat!! Have you already tried adjusting the dimmer dial? FYI : you're moderated until you've posted 5 times.
This^^^ You have to turn the dimmer dial up to see the dashboard illumination with the headlights, or parking lights on during the day. When you reach the upper limit of dial rotation, you can keep applying pressure and it will "click" to Max brightness. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I adjusted the panel dimmer light level and everything works fine again... thanks! My ego has taken a bit of a hit, but at least the car works as it should once again, lol...
