My little brush is getting old and developed an potential engine problem. Nasty winter and frequent short trips didn't help. Well, the weather finally warmed up and I did a 40 km round trip. Mostly downhill on the way over and mostly uphill on the way back. Stop and go traffic with about 10% highway threw in. Man, I will definitely get an EV next, but this car is making that decision very hard.
Wife wants an SUV and we do several trips less than 10km every day. Looked into Rav4 Prime, at first they didn't have any stocks and then they jacked up the price. I also don't want any future engine maintenances or issues. Hopefully, cheap Chinese EVs will get into Canada by the time my Prius dies, but unlikely given our politicians. Might have to bite the bullet and get a Tesla.
