I didn't replace anything and these are the only two buttons that don't work aside from the horn. Which is another problem I have. I don't know where to start and what to do.

possibly the clock spring. hold the button down and move the wheel from lock to lock, to see if it works in any position.

Sadly that didn't work. Maybe a blown fuse?

Happened in my 2010 a few years ago. I cleaned it with an overly applied amount of cleaner...it stopped working after that... tough repair ... I Did not repair since car was wrecked.

The combination of trip/disp and horn not working does sound a lot like the spiral cable ("clock spring") as bisco suggested.

The test bisco mentioned is more specific than it is sensitive. If you had found the buttons worked in some wheel positions and not others, it would be a pretty sure thing it's the spiral cable. However, the absence of that result doesn't prove it's not the spiral cable, especially when the clinical picture still sounds pretty much like it is.

It does matter a bit whether your car has the "Touch Tracer" feature or not. See this post for why.

don’t work. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

If you buy replacement buttons, get OEM for the audio controls. The after market stuff doesn't work worth squat and mine actually caused smoking in the clock spring which cooked the clock spring.

The audio controls aren't hard to replace, many you tube videos.

    Pull 12v battery power
Remove trims on left and right side of wheel where cruise control is and opposite
Use screw driver to pop air bag off by pressing release in area you just removed trim, reference you tube videos

Then it's just four screws holding on the audio control panels, buy from eBay a steering wheel or OEM panel from a junk yard, don't buy new unless it's OEM. After market is junk, won't work with trace feature and in my case the right side buttons never worked for top display, only temp would change. Then it smoked and cooked my clock spring.

I replaced my clock spring, very easy, 19mm bolt, remove air bag and wires prior to bolt. Mark position of bolt and get everything dead center straight prior. Remove wheel, unclip everything with clock spring, repair replace. It's on YouTube. It's not complex.

    Best of luck

I have the same problem. I have replaced the clock spring twice but the problem remains the same (only trip and disp button are not working)

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
