interesting. I dont recall seeing that when I put my plates on. Although it was kind of dark that evening. I'll check when I get home. (I could ask my wife to do that but then I'd have to explain what a screwdriver is.)
Do you have a photo of your rear plate installed? possibly the dealership already drilled the holes? or put a bracket on. I picked up my dar the day it arrived so it was only at the dealership a few hours. it is interesting, i found a magnetci option and several options tesla owners have posted , evidently tesla didnt even have a plan for the front plate and the rear is just regular screws? . At least there are options, but with a new car, and this really is a beuatiful car, Im going to find the best looking option before I do anything. And that is really strange - your wife doesn't know how to use tools? At all. I find that very intriguing as mine changes the fuses in the cars and well not mechanic type things but she can do basic plumbing and electrical, hang a photo, put furniture together, better than me actually. It never occurred to me that there are women other than my mother, who don't know how to do everything I can and more. I am not being rude I hope, just thought maybe you are joking, as I watch my wife take the graphics card out of my computer....
Yes, I'm joking. Its just not important enough of a thing to bother her with. I'll look when I get home.
lol...I've heard the 2023 Prius (all models) have tons of easter eggs ALL over the place...somebody at Toyota must've been bored!!
That's what mine looks like, yeah. Dealer just screwed the plate into the bumper with self-tapping screws. It's... not pretty with the plate off, but when am I ever gonna drive it like that?
I have that on our 2024 Prius and was confused as to why the dealer just drilled new holes for the rear license plate. It appears that an OEM license plate frame / bracket should attach to that but I haven't found one yet.
