Having put 140,000 on my V and not looking forward to replacing HyBattery and potentially HG, I sold and bought a 2023 Hybrid Highlander. I will be switching forums but enjoyed my stay here.
Funny when head gasket failure is so common it’s reduced to an acronym. hybrid Highlander, or? Used?
Smart move for those who can afford it especially today when used prices tend to compensate for the higher new car retail. I kind of did the same thing last year with a new Rav4h but we decided to cash in a 2017 Honda crv because most of the v repairs had been done over the years.
Averaging 40.05 miles to gallon with the highlander city and highway. I averaged 50 city and 40 highway with V. By the way the V had original brakes at 140k.
Many variables involved. Mine is short trip Florida traffic mileage. No hills and no cold weather. Currently my dash trip mileage is showing 45 mpg.
