Smart key programming issues

First of all this is a problem I created my self. I had purchased a non OEM silver key fob. I was able to program it to the 2004 Prius smart key. I was using a Xtool D8 bidirectional scan tool. As exercise I wanted to gain more experience using the scan tool. This was a big mistake! What I did was erased all keys did the quick reset. Also on SKS smart key I erased all the keys and did the 16 minute reset multiple times. When I try and do a reset the count down timer has no wait time any more. The result is non of the SKS funtions work any more. Only two of the key fobs when placed in the dash slot will start the car. The third key will not program ether. Yes I'm in the rock and a hard place. How do I fix this situation?
Will re-seeding fix both system?
By the post I have seen by RobH, I think he may have the answers.

 

Is thier a limit to the number of times a key can be paired before it has to be replaced?

Remember when I said

This was because the Smart Key control module was already reset. This means no smart keys are registered.
The second issue is that the procedure is different for the first key being added, verses adding additional keys. Since I had gone through adding key on multiple times, I didn't notice the difference. This was my fault!
The result is I have 2 perfectly fully functioning smart key fobs.
The casualty was third key fob is no longer accepted by the car. To answer the question. Yes, there is a limited number of times a key fob can be paired to a car.

Moral of the story is "If it's working don't mess with it!"

 

I was able to program the third key. The third key had the case replaced twice. I neglected to do was transfer the transponder chip. Once moved over to the new case the key was able to be paired with the Prius.

 

I have issues with my Xtool D8 programming the smart key functions into car. I used the chicken dance method to this part. I suspect the procedure with just pushing the lock button is not correct.

First of all we need to confirm you have a smart key (SKS) prius. On the exterior driver's door thier will be a small square black button. Non smart key lock and unlock are not compatible with Smart key. To verify ID chip has been programmed to immobilizer, insert the key into the dash. If the immobilizer light goes out immediately. It's a master key. If it wait one second, it's a valet key. Note: Valet keys can not be used add additional keys. If the immobilizer light continues to blink, the key is not programmed to the immobilizer. Next step is to program the smart key transmitter into the SKS. When the key fob picks up signal from the car you will see the small red LED blink on the key fob. The key fob then transmits a signal to the car. If this is not happening the SKS system maybe turned off. The switch is located below the steering column. One is for the SKS. If a second switch is found this is for the Tire Pressure Monitoring system. You want the LED light on the key fob blinking. Test the key fob remotes to see if they are now working.

 

Erasing everything should be done only if all keys are lost. Bear in mind thier are immobilizer and smart key SKS. Immobilizer uses the RFID number stored in the black chip that's not on the circuit board of the keyfob. When you insert the keyfob into the dash. The immobilizer reads the number off if the RFID chip inside the key fob. If the number read matches what is stored inside the immobilizer then the car is allowed to start. When adding a smart key it's paired to the number that's stored in the immobilizer. When adding a smart key the key is inserted into the dash. This is how the key knows what number in the immobilizer to pair the smart key too. During the smart key programming prossess the lock and unlock buttons are pressed simultaneously for just over 1 second. The key fob transmitts a code to the SKS in the car that is used to identify the key fob. This is stored in the SKS system.
