    I just called 5 dealerships around and $2800 is the best price I found. The MSRP on toyota's site is $1950.

    Might need to expand the calling circle to find it for less, or inquire with corporate about a "local dealer" price match to MSRP.

    Other option is a new OEM delivered (free both ways) for $2400 (or 2500) from : https://hometownhybrids.com/

    Not sure if either of the NEW aftermarket options are shipping currently, they could be a weeks out for new stock.

    Just to give a quick update since I have been out of the country for a while. I have purchased the hybrid battery from hometownhybrids and replaced it today. I test drove it and everything seems to be ok. Will report if some issues come up. Thank you for all your suggestions.
