Nice! I still haven't heard anything on mine. Out of curiosity, does anyone's show up on the Toyota inventory tracker? It won't let me post a link, but just the official Toyota website and "Search inventory" at the top right. Mine disappeared when it went into QC, but I think it's supposed to show up when it gets lifted.
I have not seen mine show up in the inventory search ever. When I got the call for allocation and was given the VIN, it was on the ship. I thought once it got to the port it might show up in the inventory, but it never did—probably because of QC. I’ve had to rely on my sales rep for what few updates there have been. But I think you are right, from what I have heard, it sounds like it will show up in the inventory once it clears QC.
Mine still has not shown back up in Toyota inventory and not been updated on Toyota Tracker since 3-15-2023.
Mine is now back on the Toyota inventory website ("Vehicle may be in transit. Contact dealer to confirm availability date") and is on Toyota Tracker as of today. I spoke with the dealership yesterday and they told me it was still on hold as of yesterday.
Ahhh!! Happy for you (but also hella jealous). I’m clinging to hope that mine will show up in the inventory soon. This is tortuuuure.
Mine was remove from the Toyota inventory website yesterday (Friday) but is back today and now says "Vehicle may be in transit. Estimated availability 05/07/23 - 05/12/23".
It will not let me until I scan the QR code on the multimedia touchscreen. The VIN alone will not do it.
That’s strange. I got through with just the VIN. I think I added the car on Toyota.com and then logged in via the app.
The car does show on Toyota.com owners web site with my VIN. The car does not show up on the android app and when I try to add it using the VIN it says: "Scan QR Code...You have a Drive Connect capable vehicle which requires you to scan a QR code from your vehicle multimedia screen." (My estimated availability was changed yesterday from 05/07/23 - 05/12/23 to 05/12/23 - 05/17/23.)
I’ve only tried it with an iPhone, that could be why it led me add it without the QR code. Maybe android app is setup differently.
Today all estimated availability info is gone from Toyota inventory web site. Toyota Tracker says... Ground Estimated delivery between May 8, 2023 and May 9, 2023 This means that your vehicle is now on the ground, either on a truck or already at the dealership's lot. At this stage, the vehicle is ready for final inspection and preparation before it is delivered to you. The dealership will thoroughly inspect the vehicle to ensure that it meets Toyota's high standards for quality and customer satisfaction. :
Have you checked in with your dealer to see what they have to say? The inventory/tracker status seem to be sending mixed messages.
