"I do not need you excusing me at all."
That's funny, because you said this: Excuse me for the little typo,
Which, I'm pretty sure I showed was NOT a typo, just that you didn't know how to read your scale. That's ok, it can be confusing.

"Clearly you are the hype here."
Well, thank you! I am pretty darn good and I try my best to actually HELP people on this forum, not provide a bunch of biased BS trying to get members to buy mostly useless equipment from "my links" with "my discount codes". I'm 100% confident this lithium battery is a great thing, but, as mentioned in many of my posts since this battery first came out, accuracy is important, not BS inaccurate hype, of which you are typically spewing like a firehose for items in your "links"

    "Thanks for the input wap!!!"
This is the best that you can do? I guess you're a Cardi B fan. Makes sense. Didn't you get previous threads shut down for name calling? Do you think you're being slick and sneaky?

    @Tideland Prius
How do you feel about someone trying to be sneaky like that after having similar previous issues?

Thanks for your input wap, but I broke ur handle up because it is not worth the time to make it complete.

I see you are only here to cause trouble.
Move it along if you do not have any more good info thank you.

I did not come here insulting you, you came here to do so and it shows, so maybe you will get a message from the mods.

FWIW, taking a look at the posts in question, it appears that TMR-JWAP correctly spotted a case of a scale in pounds:ounces being misread as fractional pounds, and spotting that led to a more accurate weight being stated, and that TMR-JWAP's stated reasons for pointing it out ("Just for the sake of accuracy and to eliminate the exaggeration", "It's no big deal, but accuracy matters when you're hyping the snot out of something and you need to be believable" and "I'm 100% confident this lithium battery is a great thing, but, as mentioned in many of my posts since this battery first came out, accuracy is important") appear to be genuine and proportionate, and Azusa's "you are only here to cause trouble" appears to lack support.

For my part, I'm just happy to still be culturally aware enough that I didn't have to go look up wap.

Wap said I did not make a typo, which is him assuming I did not when I did.

Then he thinks Im sneaky and calling names when all I did was shorten his username.

I think he is confusing wap for wop if he thinks I was calling names which is wrong.

Then he claims I must be a cardi b fan.

I know how to read my scale and it was just a typo from being zero and nine.

I offered to show a screenshot of my phones board to show the numbers right next to eachother.

Thanks for your thoughts chap or should I not brake up peoples usernames?

Lots of people here just call me azusa.

For the typo explanation to hold up, not only would the 0 and 9 keys have to be side by side, but also the "just over two pounds" key would have to be right next to the "just under three pounds" key. TMR-JWAP's reading of the evidence seems to fit it better. To me, anyway, FWIW.

Here is a screenshot of my keyboard.

I also just made the inputs bigger because of the typo in hopes it will be easier not to. 20230421_101917.jpeg

It's like when you write a check. There's a box where you write an amount in figures, and a line where you write an amount spelled out in words, and if those match, people figure it would be hard for both to be separate mistakes that happen to match.

So for the three things we see in these posts:

    • "Pack only weighs 30 pounds!!!"
    • "Each module weighing just over 2 pounds."
    • scale photo showing 2 [something] 1 3 2

TMR-JWAP and AzusaPrius offer two different explanations.

TMR-JWAP offers that if the scale was read as 2.132 pounds, that matches the words "just over two pounds", and also 2.132 âś• 14 comes very close to "30 pounds" (and rounds to 30 pounds, exactly).

AzusaPrius offers instead that the scale was read correctly as 2 lb 13.2 oz (2.825 pounds), and the "30" total weight was a typo, and at the same time the "just over 2 pounds" was a separate misstatement in words that also just happens to match the misstatement in figures.

TMR-JWAP's explanation just seems easier to buy.

At the end of the day, as TMR-JWAP already said, it's not a big deal ... just saying "oh, right, thanks for catching that" would go on for a lot fewer posts than trying to make like something else happened.

Are we sure they ever had more batteries in stock? I check it fairly often and didn't see the title change until the other day

Yes. They do sell out pretty quickly...:( I wish Jack would allow a deposit to be made to hold a pack. But I can understand if that makes Drop shipping tougher......

The battery auto balances and has better airflow apparently, and a relocated temp probe I think. The upgrade kit replaces the tops of the cells. There are vids on YouTube now if you search v2 nex cell.

    @tony_2018

Well it was hard to keep my mouth shut.
I didnt say anything I wasnt allowed to say.

Since I have been working close with Jack for about 3 years and beta tested the first lithium pack for him, I am allowed yes.

The Lithium v2 is so much better than v1
Because as it was said, the temp probe now sits directly into the module and is in direct contact with the cells.

The auto balancing is a whole new world.

Can you imagine what v3 would be like???
Better keep my mouth shut some more...

Save your money and get the same cells like chrisfix on youtube instead, 68 mpg average.

I wouldnt do that, any other HV battery will be as heavy as OEM or more.

The Lithium is way lighter and has more peak amps constantly than any other one.

    Newer technology cells too!!

I would. Weight and amps don’t matter when chrisfix battery outperforms project lithium battery!!!

Do you have a side by side proof of that?

Do you have that after market HV battery or are you just spreading false info base on no real facts of use or testing?

Simply watching a youtube video and choosing to bash another brand over it is a low blow dont you think?
