Hello, I have a 2008 Prius and since I got it it cannot handle the slightest bump in the road. Just replaced all four struts and it is as bad if not worse (screws have fallen out of my rear break light) and the car creaks when people get out (I drive for Uber).

Does anyone know of any upgrades I can do on the struts/overall suspension to make for a smoother ride?

Not stock. The mechanic used a Japanese budget version. Tire pressure is 40. Probably the factory model of tires.

lower the pressures to door jamb recommendation, 40 is way to high if you're looking for a smooth ride.

if that isn't good enough, you may have to look for better struts and new tires like conti trump contacts or similar.

Japanese budget version? you mean Chinese or Indonesian budget version? budget parts sometimes just completely suck.

better tires (maybe a little taller tires too) will ride smoother.

I rechecked and the tire pressure is as recommend. 33 rear, 35 front. Are conti trump tires or struts? Is there a strut that is better than the dealership version?

I think it may have been Chinese, actually... What do you mean by taller tires?

Tires, and I believe bisco meant to type Continental True Contact.
In a general sense it is hard to to go passed the OEM. If you were looking to lower or make a race car, then there would be other options.

Great. Thank you. I'll get the OEM struts and new tires and see how it goes.

taller tires such as 195/65r15 or 205/60r15. a taller tire will have a taller sidewall, which will help the ride quality a little bit.
