Just had an odd audio issue arise all of a sudden.. When I'm playing from a device connected via Bluetooth, an iPhone and an iPad in this case, you have to turn the volume up much higher than you would for any other type of input. 20 on Sat or FM is roughly the same volume as 40 on Bluetooth. Any suggestions as to what to do first?
Sorry to ask, but is the volume level on the iphone/ipad itself turned up? Generally, my bluetooth is also much quieter than the am/fm level. roughly the same as yours with 20 vs 40.
That was the issue, or at least a portion of it. It still seems a little quieter in BT (with the volume on the device cranked to the maximum), but it's comparable. I no longer run the risk of exploding the windows if I switch to the radio. I no idea what changed though. For the last couple of years that I've had the car, I didn't have to worry about the device's volume setting like this.
I will tell you that every time I have an update for my phone, it changes the oddest things. Most of the updates affect my bluetooth for my car. However, you have an Iphone so I don't know how updates work on those or how often you get them, or, if this would be the case for you.
