I have 2005 Prius and I love that, however it has got ABS, VSC , Break light with sometime beep sounds. I still can reset by jumper cable but went to service center and diagnosed as ABS actuator need changes and it has leakage issues. I didn't want to go with heavy quote they had given so ordered used part online. I was specific to part number 44500-47091 (said by service center) but order from Prime parts given me incorrect part number ABS assembly. The recieved assembly part number is 44510-47050. They claim to check by VIn and says it will work.

Has anyone experienced such situations and replaced ABS assembly with different part number.

    Any help is much appreciated.

I'm not familiar with "Prime parts" but did they send a part in original Toyota packaging? What part number is printed on the box or bag that it came in?

Are you finding the 44510 number stamped somewhere on the part itself? That may be normal. Toyota parts often have some other nnnnn-nnnnn number stamped on them that isn't the part number.

If you look in the parts diagram where that part shows up:

BRAKE TUBE & CLAMP. Prius | Toyota Parts Center Online

you see that it has the part number 44500-47091, but it's also shown as PNC 44510 in the drawing. So it's entirely possible there'd be some 44510- number stamped on the thing, even though that isn't the part number.

Yes.. the recieved part number stamped as 44510-47050. Toyota parts website says below 2 for my VIN. 44500-47091 and in superseded of 44500-47090.

    ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY, BRAKE
    Part Number: 4450047091
    Supersession(s): 44500-47091; 4450047090

Does it mean 44500-47090 can also work?

I recently did this ABS pump replacement on my 2008, I just happen to find a donor 08 which I removed the pump stamped 44510-47050. However, while looking for the pump, I went on Ebay and saw various ABs pumps claiming to be off early 04-06 priuses and they all had the same part number as my 08 (44510-47050). Not sure if my info helps or not. Id also say to see them part to part.

The original factory part installed in a majority of Gen 2 Prius is 44510-47050, that is mostly what you find in salvage yard Prius.

At least, that's the part number you think you have, if you're looking at the number printed on the part itself that isn't the part number.
