I hate finger prints. In my hunt for a screen protector, I've tried a generic static cling screen protector that I purchased from amazon that I've measured and cut. It held on very well for a few days before coming off then I just threw it away. Finally an ad showed on my instagram for ScreenProTech although pretty expensive, at $60, I gave it a shot. EPIC fail. Here are the pictures, they are not even cut correctly for the buttons and knobs. It funny that their website state it fits a 2020-2022 Prius. I am currently waiting for their CS to respond to me. Have anyone else tried this specific brand?
I would never touch anything advertised on social media platforms, they are usually cheap rubbish, but with a high ticket price.
I got to say their CS was pretty good. The apologize for the variance and sent me a Tacoma SR screen protector, I thought was strange, but I googled it and it looks like a Tacoma SR screen was the same size. It came last weekend and I was able to install it. Im not a pro but it's basically a wet install (like window film) and it fits perfectly. They actually sent me 2, incase i mess up the first one, but I was pleased with the first install. I measured and cut the 2nd one to cover the HVAC screen. Got to say, I'm impressed.
I have been looking for an ANTIGLARE cover or something for the radio/INFO system. There are times in mid afternoon where sun comes in from passenger side(front and rear windows) and BLINDS the___ out of me ! Installed lifetime ceramic 38% high quality tint on ALL windows, helps but still ! ANYONE found anything to control this ? (a towel does a mediocre job and slides)
the best way is to a matte screen protector, you can buy one for an ipad or laptop of a bigger size and measure and cut. I didn't mind the glare (eyes on the road for me) I was more interested in screen protection.
I was thinking about just THAT ! Hopefully it will quiet down the glare... (I've got 1.5 eyes with retina detachment. full detachment of left eye, partial right eye so glare is NOT my friend !)
