So a rock destroyed my fender and headlight on my passenger side the other week and i finally got my new headlight and went to move everything over when i noticed that the HID connector snakes through the headlight, but there was no connector on the ballast. Sitting there thinking how in the world did they get this through and then did some google searches and youtube and finally decided to just cut it and solder it together. Whoever designed this and decided it wasn't important for the connector to be plug and play with the ballast needs to be shot... Also broke every tab on my fender so had to order some parts to finish that as well.
I removed my HIDs for halogen units with LEDs mounted and I thought I had both left and right here those things snake out but doesn't matter now you fixed it.
I ended up finding another youtube that showed the person removing the headlight adjuster and prying up the plastic a little bit to get the connector out so i guess thats another option but a plug at the end of the silver covered wiring would have been ideal...
