Hi! We bought a used 2014 v three about a month ago. . . we've had it inspected and put in a catalytic converter anti-theft cap. . . and we generally love it. BUT, yesterday we noticed that the front passenger seat is heating up a lot. Ironically, we wanted heated seats, so we're very clear that this car doesn't have them -- but we double-checked the panel anyway just to make sure that there wasn't magically a switch there. Nope. Honestly, it feels as if there ARE wires in the seat, and it's definitely heating up: so much that it's uncomfortable. Is there an after-market seat heater that might be there and have a switch we haven't noticed? Is there any reason there would be wires in the seat OTHER than heated seats? Are we losing our minds? Any help is appreciated! Janet
Is the cat cover concentrating exhaust system heat to the floor beneath your passenger seat? The L/R seat heater switches are on the lower center console to the left of and near the USB and Lighter ports.
