Anyone else have this happen? The front emblem popping out at the automated car wash? I think it was the high pressure blow dryer. Pulled around to vacuum the mats and noticed it was gone. We found it right where the blower was set up. It broke one of the clips. The car wash is actually buying me a new one! And no, mine is a Two so no radar sensor to worry about.
With 4th gen the front fairing tow point covers are pone to come off too. A discreet dab or two of silicone caulk might help; make it cling better.
Oh no, something else to worry about at the car wash! But I normally wash ours by hand, anyway. Years ago, when I heard of the front tow covers being loose, I inspected our 2017 and 2021 and the 2017 were loose so I glued them in but my 2021 are in there very well, so no gluing required.
Damn it happened AGAIN! And broke one of the retention clips again. Guess if I’m going to use the automated wash I’ll have to glue it in. Thought the first time was just a fluke. Live and learn.
Thats the problem. Stop washing your cars at the Scratchatron 2000. I personally cringe at any car going through a car wash. Cars are meant to be washed by hand using proper washing methods.
