Is there a way to perminately fisable the warning message that comes on when the car is first started?
If it’s a standard warning message where you have to click OK on the screen (the gen 3 doesn’t have this so I don’t know for sure) the only thing I can think of would be to get one of those OBD2 port scanner/customization apps. I used to use Carista before they went to a subscription model. I’m guessing they’re all like that now unfortunately.
My C has some kind of safety warning that comes up upon every start. Likely no way to eliminate it.......but it disappears on it's own after about 20 seconds. If that's the kind of thing you are asking about........just ignore it and find something else to obsess about.
The message is the one that pops up on ebery start up. Sometimes it feels like the message is on for longer than 20 seconds.
This "discussion" is pretty pointless.......unless you tell us what the message ACTUALLY SAYS. Sounds like it is their stock "drive safely" warning. Might be longer than 20 seconds. Probably can NOT be removed. Probably should find something important to worry about instead. I think I said that already.
