Are there any posted step-by-step instructions or links to videos on how to replace the sway bar links on a 2007 Prius? I've seen people posting about the parts, etc. but no comprehensive instructions on how to replace.

Thank you, Colorado Crow! That's exactly what I needed to see. Looks fairly simple. Have you replaced yours? Is it as easy as this video depicts or are there any special tricks I need to know? Also, I've looked up what 50 nm is equivalent to in ft/lbs. and it seems to be 36.88, or 37 to round it up. Does that sound about right?

Yes that is about correct on the conversion. No I have never done it myself. Just suspension and brake work. Cv axles.

One of the easiest chores there is on a Prius. Remove the wheel. Remove the top and bottom nut. Toss the old strut. Put the new one in place and resecure the nuts. Replace the wheel.

On rare occasions, the stud might spin rather than the nut coming off. If that happens, there's an allen head on the back side so you can hold it with an allen wrench.

I've done it dozens of times. If you already have the car in the air and have an impact driver, it takes about 15 minutes. Most of that time is taking off the wheels and replacing them. Longer if you just have a ratchet.

That torque value seems OK, if you're inexperienced and don't know the right feel for a nut and bolt that size.

I think replacing new bushings while you have it off would be a great idea. Sometimes this is the source of a clunking sound while driving over little small bumps.
