Hello Priuschat! I have 4 ABS codes currently, and im seeking your expertise on my best course of action. The codes I got from the code reader at AutoZone: c0210 - Right rear wheel speed sensor signal malfunction C2015- left rear wheel speed sensor signal malfunction C1239- Metal stuck to speed sensor (RL) C1241- Low battery positive voltage or abnormally high battery positive voltage Symptoms: The car shows Traction, brake, ABS, and (!). They are almost always on, but will occasionally go off, at which time the car drives like normal with regenerative braking. The rear wheel bearings were both replaced in march 2021, and the 12V battery was replaced summer 2022. I dont mind replacing the rear wheel bearings again, but it just seems odd to me that BOTH went bad at once. Could there be a wiring harness somewhere thats loose?
Have you found out anything about this issue yet? I just had the exact same dummy lights go on today. The regenerative braking is not working. I can tell when applying the brake pedal. I just replaced both rear wheel bearings about a month ago and everything has been fine since then. Wondering if it is electrical or what? I am betting electrical. Hoping for something as simple as a fuse. Appreciate any info you could share. Thanks,
If you're posting in this thread just because the "exact same dummy lights" are on, we don't even know if this is the right thread yet. The lights only mean you have trouble codes, and there are around two hundred trouble codes that can go with those lights. So the odds that you've got the same set of codes this thread is about will be pretty low. The important thing is to find out what codes you've got. If you don't have access to a scan tool (or to someone with a scan tool) to read those codes, you can read them without a scan tool, as described in this wiki page: Blink (a/k/a Flash) Codes – How to. | PriusChat
Hi there, I just joined this community since I have had the same code for a little while now. Prius 2011, 150,000 miles, C0210, The ABS, Slip and both brake warning lights are on. The regenerative brake is not functioning. I already replaced the bearing hub (NSK) and ABS wire harness (Toyota one). A mechanic found out that the electricity is not coming from the wire inside of the body that is connected with the ABS wire harness. So the problem should be inside of the body, wires or ECU. I will try to see wiring inside to see if there is any corrosion. I still have to do more research to find where the wire is in the body... Thank you in advance.
