I got here after buying an SD card on eBAY that is 86721-0E074 for $40 that doesn't work in my 11.6" display.

Here's a part number chart I made as of 2023-02-17:

    For 11.6" display:
    86271-47207 (2023?) 86271-GN8PR-23? (not yet?)
    86271-47206 (2022?) 86271-GN8PR-22? (not yet?) Toyota Part Available $925 (47206)
    86271-47205 (2021?) 86271-GN8PR-21 Nav Msd Card V.21.1 Toyota Part Available $189 (GN8PR-21)
    86271-47204 (2020?)
    86271-47202 (2019?)
    86271-47202 (2018?)
    86271-47201 (2017?)
86271-47200 (2016?) (What I have in my 2017 Prius Prime Advanced)

My 2020 XLE has the 86271-4703 do you know if the 86271-GN8PR-21 work with my head unit?

I'm going to check mine, and then I'm going to see if these things are clonable. I know there has been a lot of people trying but I figure why not give a go with some custom software I have.

Just got 86271-47206 from Toyota Parts, sales paid for it, still have to swap the 2017 version out.

2018 Prius Prime Upgrade Tech model, used Toyota Certified vehicle.

Will report back the date of the Mao data.

    I bought this from Amazon.

Says it's 2023 but actually 2022 map data. Still beats the 2016 map data I had before. Worked in my base 2017 Prius Prime.

2022-05-01 is the new map data date, the old SD card had 201 as the ending 3 digits.

The price discrepancies between the units seem to be based on Toyota's inventory control.

If you get your parts guy/site to lookup the "-GN8PR-" number, they are likely to find the appropriate micro-SD card, which should run around $210. [They may not find the latest one, which is currently the -22, if their vendor doesn't stock it.]

If they look up the ten-digit hyphenated number, which is the one that is actually printed on the card, they are likely to come-up with a CD player, which apparently lists for over a grand!

    Hopes this helps.

Thank you for posting these, been looking forever and since Google's keyword search is totally broken these days, it only keeps finding the 0E074 and 0E076 parts. I almost bought one out of desperation on the chance it might work - looks like it won't.

I can confirm that 47202 is the 2018 maps. That's the P/N that was installed on my 2019 Prime and is dated 2018.

Has anyone out there found a reliable source for any of these? I have found the 86271-47206 on some Canadian Toyota dealer sites, listing for > $200. I could get a new, updated standalone GPS for $200. Yeah, it won't be on the gorgeous 11 inch screen, but I can't justify $200+ for a map update alone. I need updated maps as I go to rural areas with bad cell reception and the 2018 maps are out of date... in one area it wants me to turn and drive straight through a prison every time I need to go to the area on the other side of it.

Check Amazon. You can get these cards for $20 and free return if they're not what you were looking for if it's a Prime purchase.

I still have the original maps on my 2017 Prime Plus (with the superior little 7 inch screen, lol) that I bought new. I'm tempted to try an 0E076 or 0E075 from an above average cheap Amazon seller. Can anyone confirm success with those on the small screen, or do I need yet another version?

But I'm also tempted to just leave my car nav all original, so I can watch myself crossing the Hudson River on open water with it showing the now-gone Tappan Zee Bridge nearby. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I can generally deal with roads which have changed, and personally don't go to many places on new roads, because in New England, we just don't have many of those.

My daughter has a 2021 Prime LE (with the superior little 7 inch screen) and she never even bothered getting the phone-based nav in it working. Like most millennials, she navigates via phone app on the phone itself. Now that I have a huge phone similar to hers, and a great phone mount, maybe I'll do the same.

Lately, I've been using the phone to run a GPS app showing speed, altitude, etc. With some interesting results regarding the car's cruise control, speedometer, and GPS speed. Some of the quirks results of which I have figured out are real, like things I chalk up to the effective diameter of the tire actually shrinking when going up a steep slope, due to the bending of tread blocks as more shear/traction force is applied between tire and road! Of course, there is other stuff like GPS speeds being projected onto level ground, rather than being the full diagonal velocity when climbing or descending, partly to avoid glitches caused by vertical location being less accurate and bouncing around. But that's a story for another day.

Any votes on whether to leave well enough alone, or start attempting an "Amazon map update"?

That's the card I installed in my 2017 Base Prius Prime with the small screen. It works without issues
