Dr Prius app stated to replace battery soon on my 2011 Toyota Prius with 167000.
Is Dr Prius app accurate? What would be considered as soon?

Generally the hybrid battery will last 10 to 12 years, after that timeframe, it's just rolling the dice. It can fail at any time.

Reconditioning may help prolong the life, but if you invest $800 for that equipment, you might just want to put that towards the new battery purchase and call it a day.

Reconditioning might be worthwhile, but the app isn’t.
You might just have some corrosion that needs to be cleaned up
