The undercarriage plastic on my 2013 Prius has fallen down. It is located on the front driver side behind the wheel. I unscrewed the part and found the part number (58297-47010) but don’t know if I need a new part as well as I can’t figure out how to attach the plastic shield piece to the screw. Any ideas?

Look at the first picture you posted, an extreme close up, one corner of “something” plastic under the car. Give responders a break, post more overall pics, explain orientation.

Sorry! I actually thought I had more photos posted. I’ve got a diagram one with the whole piece circled in yellow in relation to the car. The redline is the part that is off. And I’ve also attached other pictures from my car. It is on the driver side directly under the door. The front end of the piece (closer to the tires) is still attached. It is the back part of the piece that is no longer attached.

Just get under there with a screwdriver gun and some screws and screw it back together by putting screws through the plastic and ignore the existing fasteners and holes.... I do it all the time. Don't bother with spending money on something new that you're never gonna see. Just fix it and forget it.

It looks you’re on of it, with parts info. I’d score the fasteners that are missing (check, they may still be in place). If the panel holes are torn, but not too bad, fender washers may help; they have oversized OD’’s. Snipped off pieces of pipe hanger strap can work too.

That happened to mine too. I used gaffers tape to hold it until I could get zip ties. And then when I got an oil change the mechanic had some of the fasteners so he fixed it up.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Hopefully I’ll be able to fix it up this weekend.
