I'm looking to purchase a Gen 3 liftback with the navigation package for up to $4,500. The vehicle should preferably be in running condition, even it has one or more of the issues plaguing the Gen 3 (head gasket, ABS assembly, hybrid battery). In case major repairs will be needed we can negotiate an reasonable adjustment in the sale price. I'm located in Texas, but am happy to consider offers from any of the lower 48. I'm seeing a few ~$5500 Gen 3 Prii on dealer lots in my area, which means somebody must have traded them in for at least $1000 less. Just haven't spotted one with navigation yet.
Why do you want one with Nav? I have one with Nav and never use it because modern solutions are so much better
I find it reliable in a way that third-party devices and solutions are not. Doesn't require any external cables or mounts. Doesn't require cellular reception. Can reliably get me home in 3 taps. Sure, I'll use a navigation app on my phone in most cases, but when it glitches out, or when the phone dies, or if it loses reception, I'm glad to have a system that can get me where I want even if I have to spend a couple of minutes entering my destination. Snagged one with navigation and a blown head gasket for $2200 yesterday.
