For Sale 2006 Modified Plug In Prius

This is my 2006 Prius. It has 122k miles on it. It has been modified to be a plug in with the Hymotion system. It has a new lithium high voltage pack. It runs great. Just has normal old car wear and tear and a small rust hole next to the rear driver wheel. The coolant pump was replaced several years ago. Its tires have around 10-15k miles on them I think. One tire was replaced last year. Nothing else major that I can think of. I will update this post and let you know if I remember anything else major.

This car has been heavily modified as you can see in the pictures. It has been to HybridFest in the past. Won a few awards there and at other car shows. Its my daily driver and it shows now.

The Hymotion battery has about 2kWh of usable battery left but still works. Not so well in the winter but as long as its not too cold it still works. If I had the time and space I would rebuild the Hymotion pack with larger cells. I think it could be done easily.

I just installed a new lithium high voltage battery last year. Its working great and better than the NiMh battery it originally came with.

It also has a lithium 12v battery that also is in great condition.

Includes a CAN-View which is great for monitoring everything the Prius can do.

Just about everything you see in the pictures will come with the car including the front, rear and side dash cameras.

I'm asking $7k for it but make me an offer if you feel I need to go lower. I know you will because everyone likes to haggle. Location is southern Ohio.

Reason I'm selling is because I'm taking delivery of a Tesla Model Y this Saturday and need to make room in the garage. Plus I could really use the money. I really hate to sell my first new car but its time to move to electric and let someone else get a cheap plug in hybrid.

 

I should also mention that the car will come with some of the original accessories that were replaced as well as other parts. Extra non working MFD. It has a power issue that I think can be fixed but I have not had the time to track down the issue. I also have the original floor mats. I will include oil filters and 0w20 oil. I can take more pictures of the car or the extra stuff if interested. The seats have covers that are in bad shape but the car has had the covers on since 2007. Lots of little details I can go over if you have any questions.

I will drop the asking price to $6k or best offer.
