Parking brake comes on in fast extended turns

    Are you sure it's the parking brake? cause if so, thats not normal, and should probably be looked at. could it instead be something like traction control or VSC that is cutting power to the wheels?

    '01-'03's did not have brake actuated traction control (power limiting only for powertrain protection) or VSC.

    The brake could be dragging somewhat, and the fast turn could relieve enough weight on that wheel causing it to lock. How's your MPG?

    I think you mean the brake light comes on. It also comes on when the fluid is low, and would illuminate when you turn sharply, pushing the fluid to the side of the reservoir.

    Don't just top up the fluid, go get the pads replaced, this will push the fluid back up to the proper level.

    Check the Fluid level. Am I right?

    IT IS the light that says "BRAKE" in the front - center display that comes on.
