Anyone hear from NPB/2k1Toaster lately? The latest delivery date update on Gen2 packs still says 11/12/2022.
his last statement was that they probably wouldn't be selling to anyone except fleet owners. he has had health issues and inventory/logistics issues
Just a heads up! I am reaching out to all the post that involve NewPriusBatteries dot com. I ordered (#1045) a battery from Nick back in March of 2022 and still have not received it. Nick has not responded to emails or phone calls since June 5, 2022 (My first follow up}. Second follow up was October 6, 2022. That’s when I started to worry. Since then, I have provided all the information to him on multiple times. I have also reached out to him here. I just want my money back. My order still says “awaiting fulfillment”. Others may have had contact with him. I have tried to be very very patient but its been almost a year and only ONE email (June 5) explaining the delay. It took me a long time to decide to bring this story to light. I believe he has had ample time to address my concerns. His website is still active and it appears he is taking orders. I have filed a complaint with consumer protection in my home state (NC) and Colorado. I have also tried to dispute the charges on my credit card. BUYER BEWARE! NO RECOURSE AFTER 90 DAYS! Just filed a complaint with the BBB. I will also take it to small claims court. I am trying to reach out to as many people as possible so this does not happen to you. If you know Nick, please let him know about me. I just want a refund and I will be fair and let this community know if he follows through.
Packs are in stock and ship out within a day or two of ordering now. Had a health scare and COVID was a logistical nightmare. That should all be behind us. Prices are up, but the pack is the same high quality.
good to hear man. why can't you be more active and reply to people with complaints? there aren't that many, and it would be good for the company and brand
I try to when I see them and aren't nearly dead. We sell thousands of packs routinely. We deal with huge fleet businesses and lots of individual people. We get emails and texts from bad actors all the time. Some are blatantly out for extortion. Some are social engineering a refund and never been a customer. And some are just bad customers literally trying to scam us and get a battery for free.
that's business. i did it for 30 years, communication is everything. i'm not saying it will hurt your business, it's just common courtesy. maybe ask tide to lock all the threads, and start a new one youcan keep an eye on.
NewI am posting this on all the strings that I talked about my experience with Nick and NewPriusBatteries.com. Update. Nick offered me a new battery or a refund. I chose the refund ($1600) and he promptly complied. We were never able to figure out what the mix up was. His end showed the battery delivered and my end showed it awaiting fulfillment. He apparently has a lot of scammers and is very leery of them. I reached out here because I was getting nowhere with communication. This forum helped put me in touch with Nick and get a refund. Thank you! I will drop the issue, consider it closed and let you make your own decision on his batteries.
Hi Nick! I got your email on Jan 8 about FedEx giving me a tracking number. The FedEx site says it is still awaiting shipping info. Can you please contact me (Order #1064) with a new shipment date or a refund? Thanks!
