I talked to a taxi company owner that stated he got over 500k on the cars and then sold them still running with few problems.

The frame issues are for snow/salt/rust states.
And, it's also for people that don't use something like Fluid Film, or Surface Shield.

My 2010 Prius has 390k now it was at 370k when I changed the engine which would not have been necessary if I had replaced the head gasket sooner. Dont drive with a bad head gasket.

Well, since the article lists the Prius “potential lifespan” as 250,601 and my 2006 is at 268,000 miles, it’s all just gravy now

My '08 trim level 5 was running great and was only burning a half a quart with a 5000 mi oil change. That was until it met a very large Doe.
She still got 47 miles per gallon when driving on 55 mile an hour roads

Our daily driver 07 Prius has 627K miles and still going. No engine swap, head gasket replaced, four hybrid battery modules replaced around 560K miles and balanced the hybrid battery at that time.

My blue bomb 2006 has over 255,000. Been cycling through reconditioned hybrid batteries under warranty since 155,000 but this last change is still holding after almost 3 years. Matt Sauer @ Texas Hybrid Batteries replaced my AC compressor, cat converter and dashboard display about 2 years ago and that has kept me going here. awesome car.

Around how much do you pay with parts and labor for replacing a hybrid battery with a warrantied reconditioned one?

I paid $2500 for OEM new installed by Matt @Texashybridbatteries in 2016. I think the price today is about the same.
