Will Sirius/XM work with an after market radio

    I will be installing an after market radio in my daughter's car. The radio is satellite radio. I am just wondering if it will still have sirius/xm service?

    Any radio with a Sirius xm or the Sirius app will work. You just gotta activate it through sirius and you'll need to give them the radio code.

    My daughter's Prius C came with free Sirius/XM. I will be installing an Alpine head unit which is satellite ready and was wondering how I might get the new head unit to have free Sirius/XM?

    Call Sirius and ask them if you can transfer your free service to the new unit
