I am looking for recommendations for a work light for doing work under the car. It needs to be bright with a wide display/ magnetic for sticking on things/ rechargable / have some kind of base for setting on the ground and pointing up/under 50 dOllars. Any suggestions would help. Thanks
I work on vehicles often enough I should have an extensive setup but I simply use extension corded drop lights (with LED bulbs) and a small, cheap, rechargeable LED light (with magnetic base) from walmart/HF for the tight spaces. Having an extra 120v receptacle on the drop light for power tools really helps too. I too often leave battery lights on while not needing them (run to the parts store). Also, skip the finicky micro-usb charge ports if possible.
