Yes, i have funnels. But need to find them, clean them and yeah.. So i usually just punch tiny hole to folio seal of 1ltr bottle, turn it upside down and squeeze gently. Usually most of it go into motor.

 

I use fingers too. But for some reason my cap is often extremely hard to open. Hurt fingers but i’m not using tool. Man thing i guess

 

This is simple, and easy, and cheap!
Rinsed out, dried 20oz water bottle....
